Escalon is a tomato brand that umbrellas over a complicated portfolio with seven sub-brands. While Italian and pizza operators were familiar with the individual brands, they didn’t have a great understanding of “Escalon.” Our job was to evolve Escalon to master-brand status. To do this we wanted to connect on an emotional level. We tapped into this audience’s passion for the ingredients they choose and the food they serve, and then we demonstrated Escalon’s understanding of their important role in that experience.
